Central Watchful Commission (CVC) is a great apex Indian governmental body system created in 1964 to deal with governmental data corruption. It has the status of your autonomous body system, free of control from any executive power, charged with monitoring every vigilance activity under the Central Government of India, and advising various authorities in central Government organizations in planning, doing, reviewing and reforming all their vigilance job. It was build by the Federal government of India in February, 1964 on the recommendations with the Committee in Prevention of Corruption, going by Shri K. Santhanam, to recommend and information Central Gov departments in the field of watchful. Nittoor Srinivasa Rau, was selected because the 1st Chief Caution Commissioner of India. The Annual Report of the CVC not only shows the details of the work done by that but also brings out the system failures leading to file corruption error in various Departments/Organisations, system improvements, various preventive steps and instances in which the Commission's advises had been ignored etc . The CVC is no investigating firm, and it either has got the investigation carried out through the CBI or throughout the Departmental Chief Vigilance Officials. The Central Vigilance Commission payment has its own Secretariat, Chief Technical Examiners' Side (CTE) and a wing of Commissioners for Departmental Inquiries (CDI). [edit] Cabinet Secretariat

The Secretariat consists of a Secretary of the rank of Additional Secretary towards the GOI, 1 officer in the rank of Joint Secretary to the GOI, ten representatives of the rank of Director/Deputy Secretary, 4 Under Secretaries and office staff. [edit] Chief Technological Examiners' Wing (CTE)

The main Technical Examiner's Organisation makes up the specialized wing of the Central Caution Commission (India) and is manned by two Engineers in the rank of Chief Engineers(designated as Primary Technical Examiners) with promoting engineering personnel. The main functions assigned to the organisation are: * Technological audit of construction works of Government organisations by a watchful angle; 5. Investigation of specific instances of grievances relating to building works; * Extension of assistance to CBI in their research involving technological matters and for evaluation of properties in Delhi; and Tendering of advice/assistance to the Commission and Chief Watchful Officers in vigilance situations involving technological matters. Committee for Department Inquiries (CDIs) There are 20 posts of Commissioners to get Departmental Inquiries (CDI) in the Commission, 14 in the list of Deputy Secretaries/Directors and one in the rank of Joint Secretary to Federal government of India.
